This project aims to portray a visual representation of the black man’s journey. It has been said a picture is worth a thousand words. Words are not enough to clearly define or explain the totality of his experience. The goal of this imagery is to give a different perspective of the black man and his journey.

One Man’s Journey. It’s a reflection of my life’s journey told in poetry. This narrative includes reflection on love, family, hurt, joy, disappointment, and the belief that God’s ultimate will for my life will come to pass. The goal of the project is to encourage readers to understand that regardless of the circumstances God’s sovereign will for one’s life will come to pass.

One of my favorite childhood memories took place on a Saturday morning. Our mom would cook homemade pancakes. As a teenager and young adult, we had many conversations at the kitchen table. Prayer, dating advice, ministry, nothing escaped her watchful eye. Many years after her time to rest, a tremendous revelation came to me. She was not a mechanic, carpenter, nor scientist. Mom was a cook. She told the most eloquent stories in the dishes she prepared. We all have a story to tell. I wanted desperately to be an athlete, but my frame would not allow it. The mental capacity to be a doctor was not mine. My instruction was to write. Vividly was the command given and my response was to obey. Each has his own vice. Like any man, tried they were but to an avail. Desperately wanting to escape, the only way was for me to write. By doing so defeated were depression, low self-esteem, and loneliness. This journey is more about you than it is me. When you read my journey, may you find a way to express your own.

Another Look is author Reginald Thomas’ second literary work. His first book One Man’s Journey was a huge success, and his second book Another Look has given him the opportunity to find his voice. In this collection of poetry, he contemplates his past, present, and future.

He has come to the realization that at some point in life, every man will weigh the worth of his life’s journey.  He concludes that after all is said and done, the heart of a man is what holds the greatest value. President George H.W. Bush said it best: “We are not the sum of our possession.” In the end, the greatest gift that we can give is ourselves. In this poetry collection, he shares his heart in hopes that others will be uplifted and encouraged as they read Another Look.

This book is designed for children ages 3-7 to help with the process of grief and loss. This is an interactive book that requires participation from both child and parents. The loss of a loved one can be overwhelming for any of us at any age. The purpose of this book is to bring comfort and peace to children that may not totally understand grief and loss.

This is Author Reginald Thomas’s 3rd book release and his first children’s book. Career Day‘s intent is to encourage children that dreams do come true and you can be whatever you put your mind to.

The question is never what you will be. The fact is you can be whatever you decide. Career Day captures the notion that every dream has the possibility of being reality. This book encourages children to dream and dream big. The father figure in this story is  deliberate. He represents the importance of fathers and their role of providing reassurance and guidance.

A Big Dream is about a little girl who wonders because she doesn’t know what to think of her big dream. Her father assures her that the sky is the limit. You can do or be whatever you decide to be in life.

Saying Goodbye activity workbook is to reinforce the theme of the book “Saying Goodbye.” It has educational activities such as, word puzzles, letter and number tracing and more. The book along with the workbook provides positive reinforcement for children dealing with grief and loss.

“I Am Black History” is a catalyst to provide a foundation of understanding Black History for kids age 4-6 years old. Additionally it builds on the positive message that dreams do come true. “I Am Black History” workbook is full of fun activities that enforce reading and literary skills.

“Principles of Prayer” lays the foundation for children to understand prayer. The bible states in all thy getting get understanding. We simply cannot say pray without having a solid foundation as to what prayer really is. Principles of Prayer Workbook has puzzles games coloring and so much more to guide and direct any child to the fundamental principles of prayer. Fun activities that all children enjoy are the compass to forge understanding.
